As a result, curriculum data were obtained from 68 out of 293 schools. The overall trend was that the average number of Jiritsukatsudo was about 3.0 to 3.5 per week, with no significant differences among grades, and that the number of hours for Jiritsukatsudo was often secured by reducing the number of hours for home, physical education, and Period for Integrated Study. The number of hours of Jiritsukatsudo in each school was found to be about 34%, the largest number of schools with 2.6-5.3 hours, which includes the average value, while the number of schools with 1 - 2 hours per week was found to be 55%.
